Parkacre raises money for Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance!

Each year Parkacre organises fundraising events for local charities. This Halloween we challenged staff to put on their scariest, creepiest and spookiest outfits in aid to raise money for Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

The Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance team save lives every day within the area and on average are dispatched to 3 missions every day which is set to increase to 4-5 once they become operation 24/7. They are able to transport the equivalent of an A&E department to people suffering from the most serious illnesses and devastating injuries.

Parkacre chose the charity as they do not receive any direct funding from the Government and is not part of the NHS meaning it solely relies on public donations.  To raise money for the charity we asked staff to put on their Halloween costumes and donate. We are proud to announce that this year Parkacre raised £146.07.

Each mission that Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance carry out can cost on average £2,500. They aim to raise £4 million every year to fulfil their work, which to date has been over 18,900 potentially life-saving missions. Parkacre’s contribution will help support the charity in continuing to provide these life-saving missions.

A huge thank you to all of our staff who supported our fundraising efforts for the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
