The role predominantly focuses on ensuring that all our company products meet the expectations and demands of our customers and are compliant with the regulations of our industry. Parkacre is proud of its quality record and the Quality Manager will be responsible for the continuous development of our internal and external processes to push the limits of our products quality.

With responsibility for Parkacre’s compliance, Production quality processes and inbound raw material quality, the Manager in this area is key to the business success and well placed to add value to the organisation and its market offerings. The Quality Manager needs to ensure that the business remains focused on our customers’ needs and compliance whilst implementing effective processes. Key to success will be developing process and the Quality team to be highly organised and creating standards and benchmarks to drive the function forward.

The role requires a leader that can inspire all areas of the business to be quality focused and actively implement a positive quality culture across the business.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

The role of a Quality Manager is multifaceted and requires both industry-specific qualifications and management abilities. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Ideally, A degree, HND, or foundation degree in relevant field qualification or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
• Ideally, proven experience and ability to demonstrate successes in a Quality Manager position within the food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Knowledge of sector regulations, policies, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure that all the businesses’ external manufacturing accreditations are maintained and lead the audits and HACCP teams. (Audits include BRCGS/GMP/Retailer specific)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with significant emphasis on interpersonal skills, such as empathy, conflict management, coaching, mentoring, and inspirational leadership.
• A positive and dynamic character, able to get and develop the best out of people through motivation and coaching.
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities, able to prioritise and manage different projects.
• Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft applications & ERP systems.
• A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing
environment.
• Be the Facility ambassador for quality and process excellence
• Manage the facilities Health and Safety requirements
• Manage the facilities Environmental accreditations
