Job Role and Skills

Responsible for analysing data analytics to evaluate processes, identify requirements, and provide data-driven reports and suggestions to key stakeholders, we are recruiting a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join our dedicated and inspirational team.

In this standalone position, the Business Analyst performs a critical role within our organisation by bridging the gap between IT and the wider business. Primary responsibility is to use data analytics to comprehend corporate procedures, spot potential for development, and create plans to maximise production and efficiency.

Your analysis will ensure that key stakeholders receive insights and recommendations that are derived from business data, enabling our ability to implement technology solutions align with business goals.

Key responsibilities include:
▪ Applying structured approaches to identify, investigate, analyse, and communicate complex business problems and opportunities, within the defined project.
▪ Developing automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information from database systems.
▪ Analysis of complex data systems and documenting data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies. Compiling detailed reports using data reporting tools such as Power BI and making recommendations based on the findings.
▪ Analyse business goals, objectives, functions and processes, using relevant information and data to support the definition of requirements.
▪ Conduct options analysis, assess feasibility and operational impact, quantify potential business benefits and contribute to business growth.
▪ Help to ensure proposed solutions meet business and user needs.
▪ Model various elements of the business with limited direction.
▪ Understand the impact of potential changes and how business processes, systems, data, roles and responsibilities interact.
▪ Select and use the most appropriate tools and techniques to support the planning, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and improvement of systems and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, can work under limited supervision, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

The role of a Business Analyst is multifaceted and requires both industry-specific qualifications and management abilities. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Ideally, A degree, HND, or foundation degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ideally, proven experience and ability to demonstrate successes in managing analyst resource, business, data, & systems. Compiling detailed reports using data reporting tools such as Power BI.
• Exposure to CRM/ERP systems and web front end solutions processing systems.

•Knowledge of end-to-end business functions such as Customer Services, Product Development, Finance, HR, and IT.
• Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft applications & CRM systems, ERP systems, CI tools and Product Data Management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with business process modelling and documentation tools.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Enthusiastic about Continuous Improvement with the ability to inspire and motivate others. A positive and dynamic character, able to get and develop the best out of people through motivation and coaching.
